Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by candlelight | Piccadilly Sinfonietta

This evening the walls of St James's Church Piccadilly will resound once again to the music of Vivaldi and Mozart performed by the Piccadilly Sinfonietta with violinist Sara Trickey and pianist Warren Mailley-Smith. The same concert will run twice on the same evening: before dinner at 5pm and after dinner at 7:45pm - choose the time which suits you.

After months of lockdown you can experience a romantic, candlelit evening in a socially-distanced, covid-safe space with some of the world's greatest classical music. The concert features timeless works by the monumental composers Mozart and Vivaldi. The Piccadilly Sinfonietta is one of the UK's most exciting young ensembles. Founded in 2018 it has performed at historic venues in many of the major cities of the UK.

This evening's concerts features breathtaking feats of virtuosity from violinist Sara Trickey in Vivaldi's Four Seasons and pianist Warren Mailley-Smith in Mozart's Piano Concerto No 12.

Award-winning concert pianist and a frequent performer for the British Royal Family, Warren recently became the first British pianist to perform all Chopin's solo piano works from memory. His formidable technical skill and mature musicality combined with a self-deprecating sense of humour combine to make him a favourite with audiences. “Stunning” Classic FM.
