This popular annual concert includes William Byrd's Mass for 4 Voices and other pieces from the Stondon Singers' extensive repertoire. This highly regarded choir of some 25 singers was founded in 1968 to sing Byrd's music at Stondon Massey, Essex, where Byrd lived the last 30 years of his life, so this event marks our 50th anniversary. Interval refreshments in this atmospheric church make for a perfect summer evening of music making. We strongly recommend advance booking to avoid disappointment at the door.
