  1. Sonata for Piano No 21 in B flat D 960 - Franz Schubert

Russian-born Veniamin Zhukov began studying piano at the age of six with Galina Boguslavskaya, later studying with Angelina Mazina and Anatoly Ryabov. Veniamin has performed in the major concert halls of Moscow – the Rachmaninov, the Small and the Great Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, and the Goldenweiser and the Pushkin Museums. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Yuri Airapetyan, with performances including the Festival dedicated to Yakov Flier, the Festival of Piano Transcriptions and the Moscow Conservatory Festival Grata Novitas. Veniamin received the Master of Performance diploma and in 2017 started the Artist Diploma course at the Royal College of Music, studying with Dmitri Alexeev. He is an RCM Scholar supported by the David Young Prize and The Royal College of Music, and also receives a scholarship from the charity fund ‘12’. Veniamin is interested in rarely performed repertoire, giving Russian premieres of several Alkan pieces and playing music by Glass, Cage, Szymanowski, Messiaen, Weinberg and Fontyn. Zhukov also enjoys chamber music, and has produced a CD with clarinetist Anton Moiseenko.
