  1. Klid, from 'Ze Šumavy' Op 68/5 - Antonín Dvorák

  3. Concertino for piano, 2 violins, viola, clarinet, horn and bassoon - Leoš Janácek

Members of Ensemble 360 turn their attention to central Europe and, specifically, the Czech regions of Bohemia and Moravia. The influence of folk music is readily acknowledged by Dvorák in his portrayal of the Bohemian Forest and by Janácek’s folk-style representation of animals encountered in his youth. Even though Martinu strayed far from home, emigrating to America, there is an enticing blend of jazz-like rhythms and a dash of Czech folk music in his captivating Trio.
