  1. String Quintet in F - Anton Bruckner
  2. Cristantemi, for string quartet - Giacomo Puccini
  3. Fantasia in F minor K 608 - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, arranged for chamber ensemble by Iain Farrington
  4. Overture, from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, 'The Mastersingers of Nuremburg' - Richard Wagner, arranged for Ensemble 360 by Iain Farrington

Our festival ends with three more giants of romantic music in chamber music mode, together with a short new work from recent University of Sheffield graduate Ellen Sargen. Bruckner’s Quintet has the full serenity and grandeur of his symphonies but Puccini’s Crisantemi is a stark contrast to his emotionally super-charged operas – it is a dignified elegy on the death of a friend.

We close with a newly commissioned chamber version of Wagner’s Meistersingers Overture by Iain Farrington, whose Shostakovich Jazz Suite arrangements were such a success in 2017.
