Well-known local conductor Steve Bingham is joined by internationally renowned violin duo Harriet Mackenzie and Philippa Mo for Arvo Pärt’s incredible concerto for 2 violins, strings and prepared piano! The strings of the orchestra will also play Sir Michael Tippett’s wonderful concerto for double string orchestra.

After the interval the full Ad Hoc Sinfonia will take the stage for a performance of Bruckner’s massive 7th Symphony, one of the composer’s best-known works, and an orchestral tour-de-force that includes four Wagner tubas!
