Siwoo Kim

Siwoo Kim is an "incisive" and "compelling" violinist (Zachary Woolfe, The New York Times) who performs as soloist and chamber musician. He took second place at the 2010 Corpus Christi International Competition for Piano and Strings, where he was also awarded special prizes for the best performance of solo Bach and violin performance. He has also been named top prizewinner in the California, Chengdu, and Juilliard competitions, among many others. An enthusiastic collaborator, He founded Quartet Senza Misura; praised for their “whip-smart performances” (Alex Ross, The New Yorker).

Mishka Momen

In November 2014 Mishka Rushdie Momen was unanimously voted the 1st Prize winner of the Dudley International Piano Competition and performed Bartok 3rd Concerto with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Seal at Symphony Hall, Birmingham. In September the same year she won 2nd Prize at the Cologne International Piano Competition. She was awarded the Prix Maurice Ravel at the 2013 Académie Ravel in St Jean-de-Luz, France and gave three concerts at the Ravel Festival the following Spring. At the age of 13 she won 1st Prize in the Leschetizky Concerto Competition, New York. Mishka released her first commercial recording this year, appearing as one of the soloists in Mozart’s Triple Concerto with Valerie Tryon, Peter Donohoe and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

“Mishka Momen plays the piano extraordinarily well, but it is the purity and depth of her musical feeling that impress me most. She has the rare ability to communicate the essential meaning of whatever she plays.” - Richard Goode, established international pianist.
