Gershwin and Tippett | Wooburn Singers (chamber choir)

Wooburn Singers and our brilliant accompanist, Simon Howat under musical director Tom Hammond-Davies have a delightful programme of music for our summer concert. We present the concert suite from Gershwin's iconic Porgy and Bess, combined with the five beautiful spirituals from Tippett’s A Child of our Time. We are delighted to be joined by baritone Rodney Earl Clarke singing the role of Porgy and Anna Sideris as Bess. Check out the idyllic surroundings of St Lawrence Church, at the top of West Wycombe Hill, for a picnic beforehand and an interval glass of wine.
