  3. Symphony No 4 in A, 'Italian' Op 90 - Felix Mendelssohn

Our summer concert's programme is full of joie de vivre. Mozart’s B flat major divertimento for strings is followed by a welcome return as soloist for our principal cellist, Amanda Thorpe, to play Haydn’s virtuosic D major concerto. We finish the season with Mendelssohn’s charming and picturesque 'Italian' symphony.
