Led by Artistic Director and trumpeter Mark Armstrong, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra quintet is a bijou showcase for some of the hottest up-and-coming musicians the industry, stepping out of NYJO’s big-band setting for one night only. Tonight’s programme brings together new works by NYJO band members with arrangements of traditional jazz standards, performed for your entertainment by NYJO’s hard-swinging rhythm section and hugely talented soloists.
