We are delighted to welcome the wonderful European Union Chamber Orchestra back to Oundle with a lively, contrasting programme including Grieg’s heart-warming Holberg Suite, a spirited Mozart Divertimento, a short new work, A light exists, by BBC Proms Young Composer Anna Disley-Simpson, for which European Union Chamber Orchestra will be joined by the Rusty Players of Oundle, and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 12 with Hungarian soloist, Daniel Lebhardt. Daniel won the First Prize at the Young Concert Artists auditions in Paris and New York and has given debut concerts at Merkin Concert Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, the Palais Lichtenau in Potsdam and Steirisches Kammermusikfestival. He has recorded for Decca and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 with future engagements including recitals at Wigmore Hall and the Louvre in Paris.
