Two world premieres from twentieth century British composers feature in this concert. One from the well established David Matthews, the other from an upcoming composer/performer, Nathan Williamson. Also included are Alwyn's brief and melodically exuberant Rhapsody for piano quartet, and two much loved chamber works from the romantic period by Robert Schumann.
