Sparkling tunes infuse Beethoven’s much-loved Leonore Overture No 3 before the RPO’s Artist-in-Residence, Esther Yoo, takes centre stage for Bruch’s much-loved masterpiece, full of musical fireworks and sparkling brilliance.

Brahms's Symphony No 2, a work of rich complexity and subtlety, closes the concert with its graceful melodies and magnificently radiant brass finale.
