RPO Miniatures: Oboe and Cor Anglais

This is a rare opportunity to hear the oboe and cor anglais take centre stage, and this programme will showcase their exquisite tones. Join musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as they perform a selection of charming works by two of the greatest composers of all time. Including Beethoven’s joyful Trio for 2 oboes and cor anglais and Mozart’s Oboe Quartet as well as a gem penned by Mozart’s father, Leopold, this concert will demonstrate how the oboe rightfully earned its place in the orchestra.
