Standish Chorale - The Armed Man

In this year of the centenary of the ending of the First World War, Jenkins's work, The Armed Man reminds us of the horrors of war. The piece has become a modern classic and sections of the work are often played on classic FM.

Standish Chorale, under the direction of Peter Kwater, will be accompanied by Carol Kwater on the recently refurbished and extended organ of St Wilfrid’s Parish Church. Peter and Carol Kwater were married in August 2018 at St Wilfrid’s Church, so this concert will be as special for them as we hope it will be for our audience.
