David Brain will perform an exciting selection of music inspired by the dance. The programme encompasses the fiery but also lyrical nationalism of Chopin's mature polonaises, the baroque elegance of Bach's Partita in A minor and the poised neo-classicism of the Piano Suite, Op 24 by the Austrian composer, Hans Gál.

Refreshments will be served during the interval. The audience is also welcome to take a tour of Sutton House, a Tudor residence built by an acquaintance of Thomas Cromwell.
