The Meadows Chamber Orchestra, under its Principal Conductor, Peter Evans, will give a concert on Saturday 17 November at 7.45pm in Inverleith St Serf’s Church.
The soloist in Richard Strauss's 1st Horn Concerto will be David Wilson, principal horn of the Meadows Chamber Orchestra.
Haydn’s 88th Symphony is one of his best known and most joyous works - on hearing the slow movement, Brahms remarked "I want my ninth symphony to sound like this".
The second half of this concert is devoted to Brahms’s 2nd Symphony, one of the best-loved in the symphonic repertoire.

A joyous and life-affirming concert, the Meadows Chamber Orchestra extends a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to join us on November 17th.
Meet the musicians during the interval when refreshments will be available.
