  2. Mater ora filium - Sir Arnold Bax

Christmas starts on 15 December when Hogarth Singers will be performing JS Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, parts 1-3, on Saturday 15 December, at 7.30pm. The concert will also feature Arnold Bax’s Mater ora filium, a rarely performed choral treasure. The choir will be accompanied by Hogarth Players, brought together for the concert, and conducted by Rupert Gill. Singing the soloist roles will be rising stars Isabelle Atkinson (soprano), Sofie Soby Jensen (mezzo-soprano), Ben Thapa (tenor) and Andreas Ocker (bass).
