  1. Golden slumbers kiss your eyes…, for countertenor, chorus and orchestra - Ana Sokolovic
  2. Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in G - Maurice Ravel
  3. Symphony No 9 in E minor, 'From the New World' Op 95 - Antonín Dvorák

The National Arts Centre Orchestra is Canada’s flagship ensemble, and under its energetic British-born conductor Alexander Shelley, it’s been getting glowing reviews. For this European tour, the National Arts Centre Orchestra brings its very own gift from the New World – not just Dvorák’s hugely popular symphony, but a ravishing new song cycle on the themes of childhood nostalgia and time forever lost, specially written for the orchestra and countertenor.
