The Saint Cecilia Singers celebrate 70 years with a birthday tea and concert at Gloucester Cathedral on Saturday 2nd March.

Current and former members will sing Evensong at 4.30pm followed by Sparkling Afternoon Tea in the Chapter House at 5.30pm. Then at 7pm as a birthday present for supporters old and new the choir will perform choral masterpiece Duruflé’s Requiem accompanied by organist Christopher Allsop, alongside a selection of pieces performed at the Singers inaugural concerts on 17th February 1949 and 18th June 1950. The concert is free to attend.
