Chelmsford Singers|John Rutter: Birthday Madrigals/Will Todd: Jazz Missa Brevis

In a break from from our usual classical repertoire, the Chelmsford Singers will be stepping into the world of jazz for our next concert. We are pleased to present an evening of jazz and choral music in a programme comprising Birthday Madrigals, settings of famous poems by John Rutter, Will Todd’s Jazz Missa Brevis, a recent setting of the Latin mass for choir and jazz trio, and a selection of well-known jazz standards arranged for choir. The Singers are joined by the Michael Horner Trio, who will also play jazz numbers, and are directed by James Davy in this vibrant evening not to be missed!
