Kate Fawcett and Martin Perkins revived the original Musical and Amicable Society, founded in 1762 in Birmingham, as a collective of professional period-instrument specialists. Today they are joined by the oboist Mark Baigent in a programme to include trio sonatas by Telemann, and Janitsch
