Alchemy - "A seemingly magical process of transformation, creation or combination" - is an exploration of folk and early music, and what can happen when you remove the boundaries between the two and look upon them with fresh eyes.

The Emily Askew Band brings together an adventurous collective of renowned musicians, breaking boundaries with their creative contemporary folk and early music. Their lively performances excite and captivate audiences with their wild dance tunes, haunting vocal harmonies and beautiful lyrical melodies. The use of early instruments with modern folk instruments creates an innovative musical experience unlike any other bands on the folk scene today.
