We welcome back Jocelyn Freeman who has become a Prom's favourite after performing concertos by Liszt and Rachmaninoff in previous concerts.

The two works with soloists feature the most popular slow movements by Mozart, the adagio from the clarinet concerto, one of his very last works, and the andante from Piano Concerto No 21 used as title music for the film Elvira Madigan.

Tim Perkins composed Capela dos Ossos after visiting a chapel in Portugal made entirely of human bones. It made a great impression on him!
