Lancaster and District Choral Society is performing with a full orchestra .

The programme includes a soprano solo- Mozart's Exsultate, Jubilate and his Toccata and Fugue in D minor played on the distinctive Ashton Hall organ by John Perrin, who is also the conductor.

Emily Robinson (soprano) is from Kendal. She works as a singing teacher locally and has performed in oratorios, cantatas, and recitals throughout the area.

Anna Burford (mezzo-soprano) made her Royal Opera debut in 2012 as Schwertleite (Die Walküre) and has since sung First Maid (Elektra) and Girl (Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny) for The Royal Opera.

Christopher Littlewood (tenor), a recent graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music has most recently sung in the chorus of Bergen National Opera. Awarded the Elsie Thurston Song Prize in 2013.

Peter Edge (baritone), currentlystudying a Masters at the RCM, graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2017. Peter has appeared on TV and also in the Film: Florence Foster Jenkins. He regularly sings on live BBC Radio 4, with the BBC Daily Service Singers, and has performed on BBC Radio 3.
