  1. Death of Usurer - Tolibkhon Shakhidi
  2. Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in B minor Op 104 - Antonín Dvorák
  3. Variations on an original theme, 'Enigma' Op 36 - Sir Edward Elgar

A BBC survey named Wallfisch’ s recording of the Dvorák Cello Concerto the best recording of that work in the past 25 years. Tolibkhon Shakhidi has a long-standing relationship with the MSO and the Orchestra performs his Death of Usurer (recently recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra and Gergiev) and a new work for cello and orchestra written specially for Raphael Wallfisch.

“A more compellingly idiomatic or richly seasoned cello playing than this would be hard to contemplate” (International Record Review).
