The 400th anniversary of Barbara Strozzi's birth give us another reason to indulge in some glorious music from Venice. The programme includes sacred and secular works by her, together with works by Monteverdi, Grandi, Legrenzi, and her teacher Cavalli.
Din Ghani takes his archlute to West Yorkshire to join locally-based sopranos Helen Atkinson and Marie Lemaire for this tea-time treat of early Italian baroque arias and duets.
