Epsom Chamber Choir will perform this major concert to mark their 50th anniversary, and warmly invite music lovers to help them celebrate in style. The concert features Handel’s splendid Dixit Dominus, as well as excerpts from Handel’s oratorio Solomon. It also includes works from Purcell, one of which has been given an intriguing contemporary twist.

The choir will be joined by impressive young soloists and an instrumental ensemble, adding extra excitement to this celebration. Past members of the choir have been invited to join in what promises to be an exceptionally rousing performance of Zadok the Priest.

Chairman Nic Ash comments: “What started out fifty years ago as a few enthusiastic singers getting together to have fun, has developed into one of Surrey’s leading chamber choirs. We work hard to achieve an exceptionally high level of performance across an adventurous range of music – but with no less enthusiasm or fun!”
