Oxford Lieder Festival - Beowolf: Jess Dandy (alto) and Dylan Perez (piano)

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Cheryl Frances-Hoad, one of today’s most exciting composers, as our first Associate Composer. Over a three-year partnership, in addition to several commissions we will programme a number of her existing works, beginning today with her colourful settings of extracts from Seamus Heaney’s translation of Beowulf. The concert will be introduced by the composer.
