In a magical way to end the day, the acclaimed Carice Singers perform a programme of ethereally expressive music which views death as only the start of our journey into paradise. Purcell’s Funeral Sentences are followed by Gesualdo’s Responsories for Holy Saturday, Grieg’s Four Psalms (his final composition), and In paradisum by the Estonian composer Galina Grigorjeva.

The Carice Singers gave a sensational performance of Nordic choral works, 'Sounding North', at the 2018 Lieder Festival and we are delighted to welcome them back.
