Opera North’s acclaimed chorus of 36 voices animates the space of Leeds Art Gallery’s Tiled Hall in a unique concert as part of the Yorkshire Sculpture International. Exploring the ability of sound to transform and affect space, this specially curated programme brings together the early polyphony of Byrd and Gabrieli, the avant-garde antics of Cornelius Cardew and the minimalism of Arvo Pärt and John Cage.

An immersion in the sculptural power and enduring mystery of the human voice.
