Following a critically acclaimed performance at Southbank Centre, founder and artistic director Ben Palmer conducts the Covent Garden Sinfonia in a programme featuring both Vivaldi's Sinfonia al santo sepolcro and Max Richter's stunning 2012 re-imagning of Vivaldi's, The Four Season re-composed. This modern classic was described by Classic FM as a piece of music that will change your life for ever.

The programme also includes the stunning Barber's Adagio for Strings; Richter's On the Nature of Daylight and perhaps the more revered works by Arvo Pärt, Fratres, in the version for solo violin, string orchestra and percussion.

The Covent Garden Sinfonia under the baton of Ben Palmer has a growing reputation for imaginative programming and exciting stylish performances. Acclaimed virtuoso violinist and winner of the 2018 BBC Music Magazine Instrumental Award, Fenella Humphreys joins the Sinfonia as soloist
