The Gildas Quartet will perform a summer, winter and autumn programme - Haydn at the height of his powers, defining the string quartet, Britten's haunting last major work written as he faced the immiment end of his life, and Brahms's sumptuous late autumnal clarinet quintet, one of the greatest chamber works, featuring Jack McNeill.
