  1. Festive Overture in A Op 96 - Dmitry Shostakovich
  2. Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No 3 in D minor Op 30 - Sergey Rachmaninov
  3. Symphony No 4 in F minor Op 36 - Pyotr Tchaikovsky

Freddy Kempf makes a welcome return to Cadogan Hall with Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 3 in an all-Russian programme with the Siberian Symphony Orchestra.

Also on the bill is Tchaikovsky's thrilling Fourth Symphony, in which the composer takes a simple Russian folksong and turns it into something altogether more dramatic.

'Kempf's watchfulness led to miracles of cor-ordination you never get when soloists are lost in their own world.' (The Arts Desk)

Part of the Zurich International Orchestral Series 2019/20.
