Internationally acclaimed baritone Christopher Maltman has firmly cemented his position as one of Britain’s finest singers, appearing on all the world’s greatest opera stages as well as being a regular at Wigmore Hall. Tonight Maltman and Middleton present a programme taking in the highways and byways of the animal kingdom. Witty, dramatic, charming and sad, it is a superb vehicle for Maltman’s story-telling prowess. His recent Wigmore Hall recital attracted 5 star reviews, The Guardian summing up the evening: “Outstanding, every single second of it.”

Programme to include works by Poulenc, Schumann, Ravel, Reger, Chabrier, Wolf, and Flanders and Swann.
