Lunchtime Recital - Flora Fontanelli (violin) and Danilo Mascetti (piano)

Flora Fontanelli and Danilo Mascetti met in London and started performing together in 2018, focusing immediately on themed programs and on a cultural approach to music. They had their first tour during fall 2018, called Mozart and the Italians and they presented French programs during the following winter, working together with soprano Marcella Di Garbo. They had their debut with orchestra in May 2019, performing Bach alongside the Slovenian flutist Alenka Bogataj, with Arte Solidale Festival Orchestra. Flora currently studies with Jan Repko, and travels Europe performing both with modern and early music ensembles such as Aura Musicale. Danilo is the Carne Trust Junior Fellow at the RCM, and has a busy solo career, performing with orchestras such as Thessaloniki State Orchestra, West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra.
