This season's opening concert is a Vaughan Williams double bill bringing together the dramatic and lyrical Sea Symphony and the ever popular Five Mystical Songs. Alwyn Mellor and Julien Van Mellaerts (who will represent Holland at the next Cardiff Singer of the World) join the Northern Chamber Orchestra, whose reputation continues to rise.
