  1. Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in B minor Op 61 - Sir Edward Elgar
  2. Pictures at an Exhibition - Modest Mussorgsky, arranged by Maurice Ravel

Welcome to the first concert in the new season given by Sinfonia of Leeds, the city's leading non-professional orchestra. We continue our happy association with St Edmund's Church in Roundhay, making music in the most beautiful of surroundings.

In this concert Sohpie Rosa returns to play Elgar's Violin Concerto, surely the greatest test of a violinist's abilities, alongside Ravel's colourful and imaginative orchestration of Mussorgsky's piano work, Pictures at an Exhibition.
