Laugh-Allowed Opera | Hatstand Opera

Hatstand Opera are back with a new show at St Neots! Laughs, surprises and disguises from the world’s favourite comic operas, presented in Hatstand’s fun, informal style that thousands of fans across the UK know and love.

Hatstand Opera say their shows are like the weather: if you don’t like what they are singing, wait 5 minutes and it will changes. Most extracts are sung in English and include favourite scenes and arias, as well as some unusual items for the real opera buffs!

At a Hatstand Opera show everyone has a great time, no experience necessary. No need for subtitles either, when compare and mezzo Kirsty introduces who’s singing what, when and why. Join soprano Toni, mezzo Kirsty, baritone Jochem and pianist Charles Kilpatrick for a great evening where laughter is very much allowed!
