The 18th century saw the development of the galant style, which aimed to move away from the seriousness of the Baroque era.

This programme, performed by Flavia Hirte (flute), Aidan Philips (harpsichord) and Kate Conway (cello), will explore compositions by English-born composers and their contemporary colleagues writing in this new style.
