Tamara Radjenovic (23), Montenegrin soprano has graduated from the Royal College of Music, London. She was also awarded a Scholarship to do her Masters degree at the same college.
So far, Tamara had a chance to perform in different international and national projects, festivals, master classes, competitions in Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria, England, Germany, Italy, Spain and Mauritius. Recently, in September 2018, she had her USA debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York.
This year, she had solo concerts in Montenegro (Kotor, January 2018) and Serbia (Novi Sad, May 2018). With the concert in Novi Sad, Tamara opened the 'Days of Kotor in Novi Sad' which was a promotion of Montenegrin artists in Serbia.
In July 2017, she had her debut as Mimi in La bohème at the Mediterranean Opera Studio Festival in Sicily, Italy under the baton of Leonardo Catalanotto. Significant performances in 2017 also include Opera Scenes Performances at the Royal College of Music, London (Britten Theatre) where she did the roles of Helena (Midsummer night’s dream, B Britten), Countess (Le nozze di Figaro, WA Mozart) and Anne (Merry Wives of Windsor, O Nicolai).
In 2016, Tamara performed at the first Medtner Festival in London which was supported by Russian Embassy and Pushkin House in London as well as British cultural organizations.
At the age of 19 and 20, she was chosen by Madame Montserrat Caballé to sing at her Gala Concerts of the most beautiful voices in Zaragoza, Spain. The Gala concerts of Madame Caballé were concerts of about 12 singers personally selected by Madame Caballé who usually are already either members of opera houses or recognized competition winners and world performers. She was visiting Madame Caballé in Barcelona for lessons on regular basis.
Wai-Yin Lee was born in Hong Kong, and obtained her undergraduate degree in Piano from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). In 2000, she was awarded a two-year full scholarship from the Royal College of Music in London to do a postgraduate study in piano performance, she then went on to study a Masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Following this Wai-Yin pursued her studies as a répétiteur on a City Educational Scholarship. She then was awarded a fellowship at the GSMD in 2007, and in the same year was also invited to join the prestigious National Opera Studio as a part-time répétiteur trainee. She is now currently working at the Royal College of Music as a répétiteur for the Opera School, and also as an official accompanist for the RCM entrance exams.
Wai-Yin has also worked for the Opera Holland Park, Grange Park Opera Company, English Touring Opera, Birmingham Opera Company, Longborough Festival Opera, European Opera Centre, Castleward Opera Company, English Pocket Opera, Pegasus Opera Company, Southgate Opera, British Youth Opera, European Chamber Opera and the National Opera Studio. Wai-Yin has also performed internationally in countries such as France, Canada, Eduardo, Thailand, Japan, UAE, Oman, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
