Born in Wales in 1993, Gabriella began harp lessons age 12. Her local music service played a huge role in her musical education, allowing her to tour with the Youth Orchestra to Germany and Poland, as well as make her concerto debut at 15 in Birmingham Symphony Hall.
Winner of the 2018 John Marson Harp Prize for Outstanding Musicianship, Gabriella is currently studying as a Leverhulme Scholar at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, for a Masters under the tutorship of Gabriella Dall'Olio.
Gabriella has received masterclasses from Marie-Pierre Langlemet, Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche, Sylvain Blassel, Fabrice Pierre, and Hugh Webb. She has played under the baton of Antonio Pappano, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Yan Pascal Tortelier with several London based orchestras such as Melos Sinfonia, Shadwell Opera, Hampstead Gardens Opera, London Chamber Academy, and Fulham Opera, in several venues such as St. Johns Smith Square, and Barbican.
Gabriella has a love of opera and was invited in 2016 to perform Britten's Albert Herring with Opera de Baugé in France.
When Gabriella isn't practicing or performing she enjoys discovering lesser know European cities and attempting avant-garde cake decorating.
Gabriella is enormously grateful for the support she has received from Help Musician UK, The Laura Ashley Foundation, and The Leverhulme Trust. Without this assistance completing her studies wouldn't be possible.
