London-born pianist Louis Demetrius Alvanis made his concerto debut at the Royal Festival Hall at the age of twenty and has since established an international career performing in the UK, across Europe and in the USA every season. His playing is regularly transmitted across the major media, and his CD releases on the Meridian and Brilliant Classics labels have been critically acclaimed by the international music press.

In London he has performed solo recitals in the main concert halls such as the Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square and the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Following on from the US release of his recording of Chopin’s Three Piano Sonatas, Fanfare Magazine remarked, “this is playing of a gifted and greatly cultivated Chopin pianist”.

Our piano is a fine 2015 Hamburg Steinway Model B Grand, maintained by Steinways.

After the concert we offer a informal traditional English afternoon tea buffet reception, with freshly-made sandwiches, savouries, homemade cakes and chocolate biscuits, accompanied by your choice of wine, tea, coffee or juice. The artist will attend the reception and you can meet him. 'Tea' tickets are sold on the door for £7 (students £5). We can cater for up to 75.
