Two years later, she moved to Germany to study with Elza Kolodin at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. Since 2014, she has been based in London after graduating from the Royal Academy of Music under Prof. Christopher Elton.

Praised for her sensitivity to tone colours (PianoNews), the Young Steinway Artist has won top prizes in many international piano competitions, which led her to performances around Europe, USA, China, Japan and Malaysia. She played in venues such as Wigmore Hall, Southbank Royal Festival Hall, Steinway Hall London, St. Martin-in-the-Fields and Salle Cortot. Besides, Hao Zi also performed with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Baleares Symphony Orchestra. Alongside performing, Hao Zi tutors at King’s College London and gives masterclasses at Imperial College London. Hao Zi is very grateful for the support of The Keyboard Trust, Talent Unlimited and Peter Andry Scholarship.
