Leonardo Timpano and Daniella Nassar formed the Asteri Piano Duet in 2017. Since then, they have performed in various venues in London such as in care homes, at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and in various concert halls. This past summer, they performed at St Andrew’s Church of Scotland in Rome, Italy. They specialise in diverse styles of music and enjoy exploring different genres. They are both in their third year undertaking their BMus Degrees. Leonardo is continuing his studies in Italy, whilst Daniella is continuing her studies in London. They are very passionate about music and performing and have also received coaching from well-established piano professors at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance including Helen Yorke and Sergio de Simone. Their upcoming projects include Brahms’s Requiem arranged for piano 4 hands and satb choir, as well as performing Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade arranged for piano duet whilst continuing their projects of bringing the groundbreaking orchestral works to a piano duet.
