Cancelled - Come and Sing Messiah - Standish Chorale

This concert has been cancelled because of the coronavirus. It is hoped that it can be rescheduled when the threat to health is no longer present.

Standish Chorale's 'Come and Sing Messiah' on Saturday 28th March 2020 is under the direction of Peter Kwater and accompanied at the organ by Carol Kwater. The performance is of Parts 2 and 3 of 'Messiah' which are traditionally sung at Easter – the first movement sung will be the chorus 'Behold the Lamb of God'

For guest singers to take part in the evening performance, it is necessary to attend the afternoon rehearsal from 1.30pm to approximately 4.30pm at St Wilfrid’s Church. Please arrive by 1pm. Singers will need to bring their own copy of the music – preferably The New Novello, Watkins Shaw Edition.

The dress code for those preforming in the concert is all black.

Refreshments will be available during the interval of the evening concert.
