The Winchester Music Club’s survey of the complete masses of Joseph Haydn reaches its half-way mark with the fourth concert in the series: two masses in the same key, one from the middle of Haydn’s life and one from his final six ‘great’ masses, are joined by his first violin concerto. James Toll, newly appointed leader of the Winchester Music Club Orchestra, will be the violin soloist, whilst soprano Anna Dennis will lead a team of lively young singers.
