  1. Variations on a theme by Haydn, 'St Anthony Chorale' Op 56 - Johannes Brahms
  2. 4 chansons françaises - Benjamin Britten
  3. Symphony No 4 in G - Gustav Mahler

Rarely heard, the Quatres chansons françaises written by the 14 year old Britten are an absolute delight and in no way give the impression of a jiuvenile talent emerging, but rather a sophisticated mind already at work. Alison Roddy gives a polished and poised perfomance, not only in the Britten, but also in the last movement of Mahler's charming fourth symphony, almost a chamber work given its intimate scale and tight scoring.
