On Sunday 1st November 2020, Soul at Saint James presents the YouTube Premiere of 'Courage' featuring Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir in collaboration with poet Solomon O.B, St James’s Piccadilly, and Lyrix Organix. With the songs of Curtis Mayfield, John Legend, Whitney Houston, Snoop Dogg and Billie Holiday.

In this immersive musical experience, gospel music and spoken word are woven together as we reflect upon the fight against racism which gained new momentum in summer 2020 following the unlawful killing of George Floyd and subsequent global Black Lives Matter protests.

‘Courage’ aims to challenge us all to actively contribute to dismantling racism and inequalities within our sphere of influence.

This free, hour-long event is the first production from 'Soul at Saint James’, a joint project between Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir and St James's Piccadilly, conceived initially as a live, outdoor event.
