Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Camerata Bern present an adaptation of the Grammy award-winning programme ‘Death and the Maiden’ in a unique poetic concert-movie experience.

The concert programme based on Schubert’s most famous string quartet will be staged in the unique atmosphere of Bern’s Reitschule and realised as a poetic concert film. Works from the middle ages to modern times contrast and interweave with Schubert’s ’Death and the Maiden’ Quartet. The song setting of the eponymous poem by Matthias Claudius, which was created earlier, can also be experienced in this programme — with Patricia Kopatchinskaja as vocal artist.

There will be a further screening of the concert-movie on 31 March at 19:00 CET. Upon purchasing the ticket, customers will receive an email confirmation with a link to the concert.
